I like the funserver, I like the shitty maps, I like "Some" of the admins, I like the general audience there.

I don't like the funserver because when a map I like wins the vote, an admin is usually there to change it to Silo, or ToyFort Elite. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't like those maps (I don't know why.)
Besides that, I get banned quite often. The one time I have my speakers off is the moment there's a dodgeball game for pyros. Soldier running in and killing all the other pyros? 10 minute ban. I don't really care about being banned on there anymore because it happens alot now, but I really only stay for Hardblush vs. Billy Mayzing. The conflict is just amazing.

okay here is how it goes for me and why i never play on the funserver.

1. screaming children on the server
2. immature people with admin
3. map selection is horrid
4. stupid mods
5. cant get a serious game

reason why i like the main server

1. better map selection
2. more mature admins
3. no stupid mods

now i personally liked /-sm-/ better (for you that dont know it, go screw yourself) but thats just me. i liked the family style server where i could go play, and have a fun time without having to worry about this stupid type split up. sure there were fun maps and serious maps, its good to get that once in a while. most important is the people. i miss all of /-sm-/ and for the few people who are still around, they go on the main server. i am slowly going away from cC as i have a lot of school and work thats been my goal right now. plus i have been working on my tf2 map aswell.

tl:dr - mainserver is for the oldys and funserver is for the noobies who dont know squat.

If I were to say, oh, something along the lines of "Despite the majority opinion, I actually have had many great times, meet a great variety of people, and do not regret in anyway shape or form any time that I have played on the funserver," my admin vote would probably drop, I'd become hated, and nobody would take me seriously anymore. I don't care, though. I have and always will view admin as a resonsibilty to make sure others are having fun, and if peoples opinion of me are that easily swayed, then who gives a fuck about them?

Most of the time I don't voice my opinion on the internet. It's normally irrelevant, and would be looked over. But I feel as the one of the only admins who knows almost every regular on the funserver that is also a frequent forum user. I have a voice and I spoke it.

So you can stop your internal dialogue "What an ass, he likes playing with those dicks and is part of the problem of that server." Your logic is flawed and despite what you say, I can't recall one time in the past week or so where non-admins have been more of a problem then admins.

Now you can stop your second dialogue "He just pointed out another problem, the admins there are immature and stupid." Despite what you think, most of the funserver's "immaturity" comes from admins not typically on the server, while people who are well like regular admins rarely even have to use there powers. Some 13 and 14 year old are full out capable admins, while some can't be trusted with a toothpick. But that's not because of the age. It's because of the maturity, while normally associated with, is not
age dependent.

The funserver's reputation for "admin abuse server" is something I can't argue against, because it's true for the most part. The typical abusers aren't some, they're basically all. I can't claim I've never admin abused. But, that's no reason to ban a well liked regular because you don't like his voice. I don't like starting arguments, but I can't stand for muting and then banning someone based solely on there voice and not there actions.

Just to make it clear, I am not anti-main server. To think that you are making assumptions about me, and are ignorant to the message of this post. It's that despite what you "think" the problem is, you mostly create it for yourself. That's what ruins the funserver for you.

Before you counter any of my points, try to point out contradictions, or end all just try to debunk my post, as well as me, I want you to realize that you are searching for reasons to hate the funserver. You may have had better times on other servers, but don't go searching for reasons to hate a server. Then you're no better then anyone you ever claim "annoys you" on the funserver.

I'd say half of all the forum dwellers that go to funserver regularly is because the main server is never full, I myself am like that and I know of some more but I shall not include them.
