Just a tip:

host_framerate (Number here) will make your FPS that number while playing back a demo, though it will probably take longer to encode/compress/process (I just listed these since I'm not video savvy and don't know the effects). I recommended using 30 or 60, but use whatever you want, just don't go overboard.

Also, upping your graphics while playing back a demo WON'T make the FPS shitty, as seen in plenty of FPS Config to Movie Config videos such as this:
