If you bought the retail copy of orange box or TF2, the one that you went to the store, put in your cart and bought, the CD key is inside of the case the game came in (most likely).

If you bought the game online, you need to send the credit card information for the card used to purchase the game online.

If none of this works, maybe someone will be really nice and buy you a new copy of team fortress. When's your birthday?

well i was using the right cd-key but it was one we bought and they say its wrong wtf man just wtf

Are you sure you typed it in right? Make sure that it's the right CD copy, in case you have several lying around.

You don't wanna make a stupid mistake like that and end up buying a whole other game .

just an idea though

i know that my account was hijacked right so i later find out i hade another copy i think that the one i used was actual my brothers but i think the other one must of been mines so if i used it ill send it to steam with the cd-key then i might have a chance of geting it back wish me luck
