when your sleeping and having a nightmare what do you do to get out of it?

wait for it to end and wake up.

i find a wall and bang my head against it. usually i find my wall next to my bed and slam my head against it. that wakes me up lol.

If I'm in a nightmare, normally it involves, and I'm not kidding, some video game / television show character coming to life and trying to kick the shit out of me because _______. If I realize, which most of the time I do, I simply pull out whatever game which I've played recently played weapons, and kick ass and chew bubble gum.

My last nightmare involved Lucy from Elfen Lied, Killed her with MIRV.

I wake up, cry, watch twilight, and eat icecream.

I ARE JUST KIDDING. I can't remeber my last nightmare, but I distinctly remeber having a dream where all of the TF2 charecters were taken away into dust, and they were all screaming death screams, and.. It was sad. WORST. DREAM. EVER.

Back on task, in a nightmare it is easy to tell that your are in a dream. Once you got that down, you can simply relax and then wake up or have some fun. Par example, last night I had a dream where some shit happened that I didn't like. So, realizing it was a dream, I pulled some matches out of my pocket and burned the whole building down.

Then I had a dream orgy.

It's not like I nitpick, but when you have a 5-word thread title and you can't get those 5 words right I have to mention it. If he would have said "youre" i wouldn't have said a thing.

I have never had one of those crystal clear dreams, it's always like I hear something and I'm in wherever but I never really see the faces of anyone, I have a whole theory for this but I'm just gunna let it be at that

I was in a dream i had to spawn a glass window and just had to punch it to get out of my dream

I usually die in nightmares and immediately wake up. I've drowned, chopped by an axe, got mauled by dogs (spiders too), got nuked, and was killed by a giant flaming octopus from space.

somehow I found it normal that it was a giant flaming octopus but when I found out it was from space I just slowly shook my head and frowned.


Also, relevant to the topic: I rarely have nightmares, and when I do I basically never die, it just ends openly, like I could have died, but I could have gotten away. And usually my nightmares are more like being forgotten after dieing, ceasing to exist, my family falling apart, or my friends hating me. When I have normal nightmares, like being chased by Pennywise the dancing clown or something, I always end up at the same cliff, with whoever had been chasing me five feet away from me, holding newspaper with the same headline. Then I just kind of wake up.
