•cC• has invaded YouTube!!! With this new found technology you can now post videos of your favorite in-game moments from •cC•. This will also be used for us to post demos of maps we play test for mappers to see.
the account is for everyone to use, but dont abuse it! I have removed the favorites section to keep the page clutter free. Also be courteous, this is a shared account so any miss use will result in its removal (idk about that). Also do not delete anything without permission. If you do just explain yourself. If there are any other question post them here or ask captain.

The demos that get recorded in game that I post on the forums are full match demos. This means that you can fly around the map as if you were specing the game. You can attach the camera to any person and hear everything that is said by everyone.

It is my understanding that if you grab one of these demos, you can record video clips from them the same way you would in a regular match. If people are interested, I can post more demos then just those from play test days. Just let me know what you guys want.

I will try and make a page that looks a bit better than that one some time soon, but all the demos should appear in the order they recorded.

So do you want me to upload those to YouTube is what your saying? If that's the case I will get right on it.

Oh and for other members when you are posting while logged onto the cC account leave a -your name after a post so we can know who posted the comment/message. Or of you are on your own personal YouTube do the same if your account isn't your cC name. This will avoid confusion.

What I am saying is that the demos are not videos. It's a bunch of data about the match and the audio. You can move the camera around while you are watching the demo so you would basically have to load the demo, pick a camera view and then shoot the video.

When I send the demos to the map makers, they want to be able to find people when they say things like "I'm stuck" or "look over here" so they can see what the problem is. You can't do that with a video.

The videos I am hoping people will make are like the video we have on our channel. Funny things that happen on our server or anything like the million TF2 videos you see everywhere. Griefing vids are hilarious and I still think renaming the server to 24 2Fort and then griefing the hell out of all the non-regs would be hilarious. Anyone who goes off on a funny rant or tells a funny story that other members (or future members) of calculatedChaos would want to see are all good videos to make. The purpose of this should really be to get more people to join the community and to share things among ourselves.

From what I've seen, the demos he recorded them on went bad and cannot be ran again.

I thought it might have been his TF2 messing up, but I got the same error when trying to replay his demos. Anybody else wanna have a go at it? demo_2.dem

Speaking of WeGame, I can't seem to record sound from my Laptop. followed all the instructions and can't seem to find exactly the right thing to record it and everything else gets me an error message. Know anything about it? (I'll probably delete this message and put it on the help desk part of the forum.)

WHOA!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN GONE!!!!! Here is the thing with the videos they were corrupted! And have to update my windows 7 so I haven't been on! Would you guys like to fill me in on what ups with all the messages on this post!?!?! And if you have a way to fix the broken files it would help! I will be back for your hateful messages shortly, you can yell at me personally via in game chat. (pssssttttt Captain hey psssst can i put the cc tag on my name?) I know you guys missed me! :3 but try to hold on for a few more days!

I finally made a semi presentable page with all the demos that I post. I don't know what's in any of them but you guys can probably find something. If anyone has any interest in say watching them and adding tags to describe the demos, let me know and I can work on adding any desired functionality.

Hey guys when i was working in Adobe After Effects today i stumbled upon a fractal generator. for those who dont know what that is its the 2 circlish things in the logo that the Cc is in. So i desided to mess around with it and ended up making an animated logo for Cc. If you dont like and think its a horrible idea, i will take it down. if you see potential in it, then it might be a good intro to all the videos that end up on our youtube page or something like that.


Just so you know, this is a work in progress. It's a prty rough draft, i just wanted to get the main image down, the transitions need work. I would like some feedback. BE CREATIVE! because anything and everything can be changed.

the last C seems bit slow that all i have to complain about

where you learn after effects i allways wanted to learn it but its too much time
i allways like look at the videocopilot videos once in awhile

i mostly self taught myself. i started doing small movies for ppl, each one had a after effects thing in it, and each time they would get more and more complex. i also watch and follow vidoe copilot things. its rely hard and time consumming, but its worth it for me, cuz i wana do this for a living

thats pretty awesome gerv. what would be cool if lightning would strike the logo and then it would do all the twitching and stuff like after all the letters fell into place

All that seems a little odd to me is the shaking C's at the end, maybe if you added in a slight blur in the shaking it would look more natural.
