Awkwardly Enough...I Like the look of it right now..not to mention the fire axe part...But I really wish this was dlc rather then a new game..

the hell? I think i saw two new zombies but the old ones were exactly the same

new weapons seem pretty much the same as the old

looks like they just uped the graphics, added a new map, new zombies/players, SMARTER ai's, and changed the overlay

or in other words, stuff that looks like it should be an expansion or dlc, like everyone is saying, but still, awesome.

and is it just me, or does it seem that most of the zombies are something out of Resident Evil now? (and why did an AI get an achievement at the end of your video series? and why was it one out of the normal L4D?)

yeah from what i seen its like a updated SMG gun and shotgun with a different noise when it shoots. I was hoping for flamethrower or something xD

I picked out a zombie zoey... look at about :40.
And besides, it is kinda high time that valve got a big rotting undead cash cow to milk. And don't hold your breath on the November release, as valve time will be in effect.

The game also gives off a whole different vibe than original Left4Dead. If you didn't notice, it was daytime, and in daytime the game has to be toally remodeled to give off the same effect that a nighttime zombie shooter would give off. New weapons, zombies, and characters all just contribute to that.

If I came up with something such as daytime zombie killing, I wouldn't just release it in the nighttime game. I'd get me some cash off of it.

to hanzo: There isnt a flamethrower but there is fire ammo that when you shoot it the bullets on fire. thats kewl!!!!


anywayz the new auto shotgun looks kewl. and there a r new survivors. and 1 of the new zombies is called the charger. more special infected=more people can play?? imagine 4 survivors and 8 other people can be on infected? and maybe survivors can play as witches? or common infected? i think over 100 people should be able to play as common infected since there is like 500 in each level.

I will miss the old survivors. Hopefully there will be an old survivor mod.

And there had better be some darker maps. AND I want my vocalize commands!

Actually it looks more like new Orleans. But like I said, a cash cow is fine. Maybe they could use it for something good, Also, and I am just spit balling here, it could be l4d is going half life on us and is being released in episodes that take .way to fucking long. And there better be some peelz in here.

Not to mention the lag.

Yeah It takes place in the southern states, like Georgia, Alabama, you get the picture. Also one of the main differences is the new AI Director. There is now multiple paths and even dead ends. It's just way more advanced. Overall it actually does look worth it.

I has L4D 1, and I played it for awhile and got really bored. I haven't touched it in probably a month. I didn't really see anything in the video that made me think anything different would happen with this one...which means I'm probably not going to buy it unless they have some ridiculous $10 sale on steam or something.

I will most likely get a server for this when it comes out because even though you guys are complaining now, all of you will probably by it.

There have been some comments about how this may be driven by consoles since they can't get the DLC the way we can. That makes perfect since to me because us PC gamers played L4D for a little while and moved on.

A lot of the changes seem to be geared towards making things a little more casual. I think that was why it didn't gain the popularity that it could have. It's hard to find 4 people with good connections together for 45 minutes with no interruptions.

I hope they fix the server/lobby issues.

I never got tired of L4D. I was waiting for the SDK to be released so I could map, but now I feel like its pointless, and whether it is or not, it is in my mind.

Versus mode was genius in my opinion. Whenever I was successful with a pounce or whatever it felt just as good as the first time I pulled it off.
