Early morning confusion

I was wondering if anyone here has woken up in the middle of the night and been extremely confused, i would like to know the things you have done in these situations.

the last time was last thursday, i woke up, and i thought i was a pirate. i casually woke up and thought aww crap i have to get up in 10min and go man my ship. then i realized i have one more hour to sleep, then i realized im not a pirate. but i do have to go to school. fuck.

woke up, went thru my day. school sucked of course. got home. did homework. and proceeded to wake up from what was apparantly a dream. the part that gets me tho, i felt like it had really been like 10 hours. worst fucking nightmare ever.

i woke up as a skydiver and proceeded to jump/fall gracfully out of bed and onto the cold floor

Almost everyday for me: Pass out in bed at night, wake up with no memory of a dream whatsoever.

Rarely: Pass out in bed at night, have weird dream (like can't move, grim reaper walking towards me, can't speak, eventually can't open mouth, family in media room watching tv, reaper gets close with scythe, dream ends), wake up gasping for breath.

The grim reaper dream? I've been having that since I was NINE.

probably the weirdest dream for me was when the dream went on like a story for about 3-4 days.heres how it went

ok so basically there was some sort of portal in my backyard that was releasing these humanoid jaguars and when they bit you you turned into them, but for some reason me and a few of my friends were unaffected by the bite, and the jaguars worshiped us. so this story-like dream went on for days it was so weird waking up everyday.

I'll often suddenly wake up as I'm falling to sleep because I dream that I've stepped off the edge of something. It always leaves me confused for a few seconds.

I have honestly never had a normal dream, I've had nightmares, and those things in-between, but never really a dream

and you ever notice how when you think about dreaming or sleeping it's harder to sleep?

I don't usually have any dreams but the worst feeling I have when I wake up is when I oversleep and wake up in a panic.

I haven't been able to sleep much so I have been doing it more and more lately. No good.
