2nd one looks like he used some CAD's
not bad, i used to be big into photoshop. i was a designer for what once was DigitalityDesigns, a Tutorial writer, and a Judge for various sotw events.
once you get the hang of things, you will come up with your own style, and ways of doing effects that will be very unique to yourself. i would post some of mine, but i have no idea where i hosted any of them. i dont even have photoshop anymore.. kinda sad.
