good job, better than my first.
might want to make it less flat, add some texture, the render needs to be more visable, larger, and less pixely. make the background more interesting.

btw what program are you using?

the render needs to be bigger, its the focus of the peice.

Sadly, this ain't my first. It's my 5th if you count the projects I did in my classes.
By the way, I am using photoshop, CS4.
And no, I am keeping my name the way it is.

Is CS4 that different? im still using CS3

what you need to do, is make the dude moar awesome and moar 3d-ish and make it look less choppy. Do this now

Dude, I jumped from PS 7 to CS4 and not a whole lot has changed besides the cost.

I just use gimp and I couldn't make a sig to save my life

well find an acutal picture, not some silly pink thing, find the picture they made it from, i suggest http://planetrenders.net/

The image ius blurred on the sides so when you are cutting it out it is hard to get a clean line around the silohete. I'll see what I can do for ya.

Edit: How's This: I selected it with the wand tool using a Tolerance of 10. That means it will select colors that are 10 steps away from whatever color you click on.

I selected it with the wand tool using a Tolerance of 10. That means it will select colors that are 10 steps away from whatever color you click on.

It's an original pose that a guy made on DA, I looked to get a screenshot or something, but to no avail.
Also, thanks capt (I wish I knew they had the wand tool in CS4, would've made my life much easier). I'll post the second try when it's done.

I don't have any suggestions. That looks really nice. One of these days I'll have to make a new sig and avatar for myself. I have been rocken these two for a long time.
