People are abusing the hell out of the admin powers.

On the funmaps server it's mostly teleporting. Teleporting is fine and all if people are playing cyberpunk and you just want to build in the skybox or snipe on the tallest building or whatever, but if you are playing a map with a goal like a cp or a team trial, you are cheating when you teleport. It doesn't matter if YOU don't like the goal of the map, other people are trying. When you teleport yourself to the finish or someone else from where they are, you are ruining other players gameplay.

Something I have seen a lot of on both servers is people deciding to make admin decisions without a vote. If you want to mute someone, if you want to turn melee on, if you want to change a map, take a vote. If it's you and one other person on a server and you say "wanna do melee?" and they say "yes." then by all means don't call a vote. But if you are tired of getting sniped and just outright change it to a map you like, that's admin abuse. If you mute someone because they are annoying you and you didn't call a vote, that's admin abuse. If you turn on melee because someone said it would be fun and you agree, it's admin abuse.

It's not just you playing. It's everyone. Yesterday I saw someone kick a pug because the pug wouldn't heal them as a medic. I seem to constantly have some sort of asinine vote called while I am playing asking if the person who called the vote should mute themselves. I have had people straight up change a map because they aren't doing well. I have watched people mute kick or ban Duckwalk outright because they don't like him. You want to know why he is so angry and confrontational when he is on here? It's because a handful of you think it's your server. It's not. You just play here.

Understand that I am not trying to be a dick. I like you guys. If I didn't I would just go play someplace else, but I get pretty tired of watching people bully others or ruin MY game because they have the same admin power as 90% of the server but can't seem to leave it alone.

This is the biggest problem I've seen with abuse yet. For some reason, if people don't think you're playing the game like they think you should, you get kicked/banned/muted without a word said. Likewise, if they don't think the game is going like it should, they change it without a word said. There are such things as votes and warnings. Use them, you'll be glad you did (just don't abuse the votes, that there is a problem in itself).

..Also there's the cheating on some funmaps, but that's usually fixed with a quick kick in the pants.

Apart from the Rocket jump, there is no other way to scale the map by normal means. However, upon reaching the top of the map where the CP lies, it is possible to continue moving down towards the opposing side's spawn point. Though it may take practice, your ability to use your rockets to deter enemies is an important skill that may mean the difference between victory and defeat. If you choose to do such, it's advised that you should stay near one of the platforms where both a med pack and ammo box will be located, in order to ensure that you can continuously fire upon and slow your opposition.

I am fairly certain that KEKE is referring to me kicking the medic on my that wouldn't heal anyone and who made a point to say that he wouldn't heal anyone. I'll be honest about it, I HATE "battle medics" and they are completely useless, but I don't just kick them at whim as mostly the reason I kicked the dude is that he was trolling and doing it to intentionally to be a nuisance. I will sometimes kick people who are just intentionally not playing as part of the team to be a nuisance or who are not there to play TF2 but just to act like douchebags, troll and grief. For instance, if an engineer is building dispensers right outside of the spawn and then standing on them and dancing the entire round, WTF, they are just taking up a slot an being a nuisance. Also, I have to say this, I mute Duckwalk and Gyspsy a lot because of the constant insulting banter and fagtalk (calling everyone fags or worse) and the repeated requests I get in Steam chat, not to mute, but to kick or ban them (mostly from the younger players who they abuse quite often). In fact I have not received as many complaints about everyone else combined than I have about those two.

I'll admit, I put up with so much shit from the kids at my last job (a group home) while having to just grin and bare it without telling them how absolutely fucking retarded and asstastic their behaviors were that when playing TF2 and seeing people do the same stupid shit that I don't always hold my tongue. I will often get a heated in my condemnation when my team is being extra retarded, and I know this, but I don't resort to admin abuse to get people to do what I want and if I start getting mad and talking too much about how I hate people I usually just switch teams or rage quit and anyone with admin powers is welcome to mute me, I will not resent it at all. I did once kick my entire team on Desperados at the end of the round once because of the most terrible performance I had ever seen in defending, but I have never done anything nearly that asinine since. I know that we don't have very tight standards, and I think that's actually a plus as when you start applying tighter and tighter standards it can get overboard with everyone chiming in with their say (SM clan server died from problems stemming from that). I think it's a good thing that we have CaptainAngry to keep us in line, as he has a fairly level head, and it is usually better to have someone like him in charge of something like this.

It's just been a lot of different things compiling into one big irk for me. I still love all you dudes and dudettes, I just love you a little less when you use that admin.

porn in any case for me will get u a ban of some sort. i also have a small tolerance for cursing and may have few different curse words than most of u. i will give 1-2 warnings(3-4 maybe 5-6 if i am in a good mood for admin/regulars) then mute/gag/silence first then if it continues then kick then ban for some amount of time.that is how i deal with this problem sometimes i am to busy to notice but if i do and u get a warning plz take note cause i will probably be watch u more carefully.

Regular porn, I'll warn, but some things go too far, cartoon porn is just shy of child porn. When you take popular images from shows that are geared towards children or child-like cartoon images and eroticize them you are stepping over a line. I have worked with children who have been abused, and if there is one thing in this world above all others that I will NEVER tolerate it is child abuse.

BTW... Louise the Lovable Lungfish was on the server this evening, playing battle medic. I gave my usual diatribe about how much I hate battle medics, and as people who play battle medic do he continued to (what I consider) grief play, even exclaiming how he was going to kritzkrieg another medic who was actually healing people. So I renamed him something silly and refrained from kicking him or worse. Then ironicly enough, as I said in my other reply, as people like this often do, he switched to engie and began building a teleporter outside of the spawn and an exit right next to it along with a sentry facing the spawn. THIS is the progression, it starts with crap like battle medic or something equally asinine and moves to outright grief play. It's why when I see it starting I get twitchy, afterall it is TEAM Fortress, and people who are there just to douche around like this are just getting in the way, wasting ammo and health packs, and just outright ruining the game.

I recall one day we were playing 2fort, and it was you that wanted melee. Doghouse doesn't have a mic, so I am for sure it wasn't him. Later on that day, you kept wanting melee (again, vocal), and then we kept making a joke out of it since it crashed the server at least twice.
