In all seriousness, this picture is a bit old (hence the winter gear) and I've lost some weight since then. But I like it because I unintentionally caught the far edge of my personal favorite artistic piece I own. I'm not ashamed to say I'm desperate.

Why does no one look like how they sound or how I predict them to look based on their avatars/signatures?

I don't in any way have a good picture of me, but I have one from about a year ago that I found on my facebook. I was taking joke pictures with everybody on the bus.
