I like Recess Cereal because it is amazing and because it's Recess for breakfast. It is also Peanut Butter Crunch with chocolate on it making it at least one step better by default.

The feature of the cereal is the peanut butter part! Cap'n crunch is automatically the winner then because the peanut butter flavor is far superior over reeses!!

Cap'n Crunch should stay making Cap'n Crunch, not any of this variation garbage. Resees all the way.

How could a cereal started in 1994 be better than one that has been perfected since 1969?! The only reason reeses puffs even exists is because of Captain Crunch!

I used to eat a crap ton of cereal every day when I was a kid, and the only one between the two that never made me sick was the Recess' Cereal. Plus it does just taste better all around.

Well, I'm going to have to go off topic for a second to illustrate my point. Both of these cereals are terrible, and so are all the other cereals like them that are out there. This includes every thing from Fruit Loops, to Lucky Charms, the Cocoa puffs to Fruity Pebbles, all of it!!!

Forthcoming anecdote alert!!

I was 8 years old. Most of my life I spent eating healthy cereals and breakfast foods. So if I ate cereal at all, it was usually something that was healthy or that sounded healthy. The only cereal that my mother would allow me to eat that was in any way sweet was Honey Nut Cheerios, and that was only every now and then. One summer however, we went to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins in Myrtle Beach, SC. The first morning there we had a big breakfast with grits, eggs, bacon, the works! The next morning however my aunt was in the kitchen and said that she did not feel like making a big breakfast and that I was welcome to any of the cereal they had. I was a little disappointed, that is until I saw what they had to eat. Fucking Fruit Loops!!! I was so excited I nearly peed my little 8 year old pants. Before I grabbed the box I even looked around to see if my mother was awake yet, because I knew she wouldn't let me eat it. Then when the coast was clear I grabbed the biggest bowl I could, and poured that amazing colorful bounty into it. It was so colorful and Toucan Sam had for so long taunted me with the promise of a fruity sweet breakfast experience. I poured in the milk and then had a little moment where I am sure that I must have thanked god for this. Then I dipped my spoon in and took a big mouthful of the most disgusting crap I had ever put in my mouth. It was dry and tasted like cardboard dipped in sugar. It did NOT taste like fruit, and had this strange promise-of-fruit-but-not-quite-fruit taste that made me want to vomit. Then I realized that I had an entire bowl of this crap that I had to eat so that I didn't anger my aunt. I am still traumatized by this event and will never eat that crap again, nor make my future kids eat it.
Anyhow, if you are going to eat fruit, then just eat some fruit, if you are going to eat peanut butter, then just eat some peanut butter, and if you are going to eat Recess, then just eat some Recess, it will taste soooooo much better than any crappy cereal version.

P.S. As a result of this I have a distrust of cartoon birds.

mmmm fruit loops are good.... Not as good as Peanut putter crunch though!!

I eat a couple boxes of cereal a week and it is all the 'disgusting crap' plastic was talking about. I have a box of regular cap'n crunch in my desk at work because we get free milk at my work.

Cap'n Crunch is the ONLY PB cereal worth eating (If it has crunch berries in it).

Plus it had a 'cap'n' in it so you know it's better.
