Lets make sense out of this update

That kind of explains the delete an item issue. Obviously you would be receving more items than you can carry and will have to pick what to keep. This was probably intended to keep people from having a huge advantage just because they have every weapon.

This is real and you can see these pages in your own game if you want to. You need SV_Cheats 1 to use them:

client cheat
- Debugging tool to test the item pickup panel. Usage: test_itempickuppanel

<weapon id>: 0 = primary, 1 = secondary, 2 = melee.

The other thing people were asking out was the custom head that is now in the character setup screen. There was some stuff leaked on that in the latest update as well:

More importantly, there is now a reset stats button again! Now i can wipe the horrible shame that is my achievement farming stats.

Why the hell are people so whiny about this? Player customization?! IN AN FPS!? WHAT AN ABSURD AND RIDICULOUS NOTION THAT'S DEFINITELY NEVER BEEN TRIED BEFORE AND EVEN IF IT WAS IT WOULD HAVE FAILED!

The only foreseeable issue is how everyone will get "the good gun" for their class. That seems somewhat cancelled out by how everyone will be able to get it.

In order to obtain so many items that you have to delete some, the items have to be randomized. So one person may be lucky and get the best randomizable weapon on their first try, and others may never get it in their lifetime. See how this may become an unbalanced issue?

I agree with divine here. The only time luck should come into video game mechanics are gambling mini games and RPG rates.

maybe it WILL be a gambling mini game, anyway they only thing I can think of to say here is that we either, need an exact answer on what is coming, stop finding these things that "tell us" about the upcoming updates, or just all shut up until it comes and THEN we can rant, discuss, and argue

Its called crits!
Crits are based on your damage in the past 20 seconds. The base rate of crits is not randomized, but 2%. The crit chance can increase by 10% if you do 800 damage.
