So does any of you read?
I know I do and I'm looking for some new books after I finish Angels and Demons.

So discuss books you've read and liked or books you want to read.

Peirs Anthony is a good author!
I suggest that you read the incarnations of immortality books.
They start of with death and it gives you a neat outlook on what its like.

umm.. a clockwork orange..

The book of three by Lloyd Alexander )<=== its a juvenile fiction book but it kicks ass i read the whole series every year. the main character reminds me of myself. the series is called The Chronicals of Prydain. its loosely based off of welsh mythology.

ill have to get back to you on this one.. i dont remember what other books ive read. soo many.

Sastora, have you read any Terry Prattchet? I don't read much myself but his work is very entertaining and smart.

I'm waiting for the next George R. R. Martin book, and the several that are out are pretty epic and should keep you occupied for awhile.

@CA,

I read one of Terry's books. About little red scottish gramlins :) Was a pretty good story and whatnot but I think it was aimed at kids (maybe 10-14 yrs).
He is a fan of the Thief series and has played alot of the fan missions. He played one of mine and left comments on a forum, when I found out who it was I figured it would be cool to read one of his books too. cheesy I know.
The library had a limited selection but I heard his best ones are the Discworld series.
I think my favorite author is Tom Robbins. He's got a great sense of humor and outrageous stories.

I tend to find an author I like, read all their books, then don't read for awhile until I find another author I like. Some books are just sooo boring, if one is like that for 20 pages I never touch it again.

I liked Stephen King for awhile but his books all tend to be the same. Tons of detail about little things and I feel he writes like a 10th grader.

"Good Omens" by Terry Pratchett & Neil Gainman is a great read. generally speaking, anything by those two authors is going to be good (even the kids books).

im reading "The Hickory Staff" by Robert Scott & Jay Gordon at the moment.

"Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible and Fried: My Life As a Revolting Cock" by Chris Connelly was pretty interesting. im surprised Connelly is still alive.

"The Wold Without Us" by Alan Wiseman was eye opening.

"You Suck" and "Bloodsucking Fiends" both by Chris Moore were funny -- guy has a different take on vampire myths. any of his stuff has been generally entertaining and good for a laugh.

I still have trouble understanding that the latest international heart thrub is a fictional character and a fictional creature. That and the Edward vs Jacob thing has reached near gang war level.

The movie is hilarious. When the guy flings the girl on his back and Yoshi's her up the hill I almost died laughing.

I'm sure the entire U.s. has heard of twilight and I agree with Cap, every time I've watched the movie I laugh so hard the main guy always looks like he is going to cry.

I've read the Anita Blake series...the furries would love it. Every time I hear about the Twilight stuff I just write it off as probably being no where near as good as the Anne Rice stuff (before she went batshit Christian that is).

I'll look up those authors and I'll tell Goose's mom about it.
Maybe she'll buy them and then I can read them.

Well I'm on Wiki and I seen what it says about Anita Blake, not sure I want to mention that one to his mom, might get weird.
