there is a problem with the mad world karaoke. i select it and it says i selceted piano man and it shows the piano man lyrics but plays mad world

I can add commands for all the songs so people can just play them without the words. I'll do it tonight provided I don't go home and sleep for 12 goddamned hours like yesterday.

I can go ahead and upload MP3s for various songs, but having too many might make new players' joining downloads too large.

Is it possible to stream the songs? 2f2f has a streaming music/sound player (Anyone can play any noise for themselves, mods can play a noise for everyone), but as usual, its unique to their server, and handwritten by the owner, so don't expect to find it.

Divine, I need to add songs slowly because otherwise it will use too much bandwidth. If regulars only have to download a few songs a week/month or whatever, it's a lot better for my file server.

When I had the achevement_idle map on the server I forgot to turn off karaoke and ended up using like 500GB of bandwith that month. Somehow I don't think my hosting provider would appreciate me sending that many illigal MP3s to people every month.

Rift, I think this I can do this already with the mod we have but the files have to be on the server. It's like playing music via HLSS or whatever and the karaoke songs. I have a lot more tolerence for the karaoke soungs because 1.) I can stop them on just my computer and still hear everything that's going on and 2.) The sounds don't sound like shit because they are playing locally for everyone rather than streaming over the tubes.

I made all the songs that were on the server available for playing without the words. I think I also fixed the problems where you could play more than one song at a time.
