I think now I shall change my ways, I shall stop spraying porn sprays (lol jk)

Anyway, I shall now kick for inappropriate spray rather than warn, and ask not to spray it again. that way they get the message sooner. And if they come back and spray it again then I shall ban for a minimum of an hour, if another admin happens to come on before the hour is up I shall tell them so and so was spraying porn sprays and was banned for an hour, feel free to ban if they do it again.

This way we won't have porn sprays around for very long, so they won't be seen by those that dislike them and the admins and servers are seen to get rid of them, so in the end everyone will be happy (even those who sprayed the porn sprays as they'll eventually find some server that allows them).

Steve that will work assuming the admin doing the kicking/banning do not also have porn sprays. I can think of 1 admin off the top of my head. Now if he does the kicking/banning people will start to call the admins hypocritical and start to ignore the other rules of the servers as well. I've already seen this happen on the fun server.

Having and using are different words with different meanings. There's no rule against possession, there are rules against usage. I only seen one admin post porn, and he's long gone.

I actually like people putting up those sprays because then I'll put up my spray in the bad part of their spray with louis covered in pills saying "pills here!", or an arrow pointing down at it saying cloaked spy. It's pretty funny to me, but im not sure about anybody else. Although I'm not sure if that makes those sprays more innapropriate.

I've said it before and I've had a few admins agree with me, and a course it is all my opinion, but here it is:
The voting system for admin is shit.


I think it should be like this:
We have current admins that already do a great job.
I'll use divine fate and rift off as an example.
They're high admins and they keep their power. People that are lower or haven't been doing their job right for a significant amount of time are stripped of their powers.

I think you should have to EARN your admin power from playing on the server for a long time, showing good judgment skills, following rules. Not by winning some popularity contest.


On the whole donator thing, donators IMO shouldn't get admin powers, but a whole seperate thing. Reserved slots,immune from muting votes, etc.
Nothing that changes how the game is played seriously

Reserved slots are for admins too, though they were broken until just recently.

Celtic is right. To be completely honest, I feel like we have plenty of admins. The whole reason I made the voting thing was because there was no real reason for me to give anyone else admins once we had more than 100 people as admin and half the server is admins nearly 100% of the time.

I'm looking into getting a spray saying censored so I can cover up "naughty" sprays but I'll have a look at the server rules

Well I think its good to finaly see a bit of structure coming into the servers, maybe tone down the non-calculated chaos, on the fun server.

I'm glad that this has been brought to attention. I haven't been in cC for an excessively long time, but I have played on the funserver quite a bit, and while it is a FUNserver, rules still need to be enforced. People shouldn't be allowed to do things that ruin the fun of other people. When I see a distasteful spray, I put mine next to it.

I'm not an admin so I can't remove sprays or anything of the sort, But if the person keeps spraying it I'll start covering it up instead of justing making a joke. It's in the server rules, and breaking server rules is grounds for kick/ban and I hate when people don't obey server rules. It takes away other peoples' fun.

you know how easy captain has made it to get admin? we get new admins roughly every week. and they all want to try everything. even if that something is adminspraying a porn spray, because "I R ADMUN I CAN DO WHUT I WANTZ NAO"

The vote system is just a formality. Its not automatically tied into the server. If he really thinks someone shouldn't get admin, he wont.

I think I could even use the word "novelty."
