Dogs can look up!

A dog cannot look directly upwards without lying on it's back. It's science.

Science also says that it is aerodynamically impossible for bees to fly.

My dog can look up while sitting, standing on its hind legs, or jumping.

He can also look up if you genetically engineer it with eyes on the top of its head as well, or give it rotating eyes like those of a chameleon.

What are you talking about? She can almost look behind herself when sitting down she can tilt her head back so much! She can totaly look straight up! And omg I just now, just this very second went outside and got her to look straight up at a ball while she was standing on all four legs.

The issue stems from dog's limited eye movement compared to humans. Dogs can look 'up' but they can't look as far 'up' as humans can.

It also depends on the bread of dog because I know there are mountain dogs than can put their head basically on their back to look backwards to get out of narrow passage ways. They probably have more neck movement then the average dog and can compensate for their limited eye movement.
