Holy shit has that song taken off. I was watching the music video to it this summer and it had a few thousand views. My jaw about dropped when I was doing the mixtape playlist on youtube and it had 33 million views and a bajillion cover. And now just a week or so later it has 42 million and that cover has 22 millions. Good for Gotye.

You have bad taste in music now.
That didn't take much effort.

interesting at least....
1. It's Danish
2. It's nothing close to Rammstein

In an amazing non-youtube-link-dumping turn of events, the main man behind Dethklok (Brendon Small) is doing a side project, Galaktikon, with the always amazing Gene Hoglan on drums and some bassist on bass. I've seen it described as "Master of the Puppets era Metalica meets Yes" and shit promises to be off the chain.
Anyway, back to my prog binge.

This one in particular goes great with headphones.

Spending every waking moment on Pandora or Grooveshark is guaranteed to make you cool in the eyes of your peers, right?

Behold my glorious Dutch heritage:
Fun fact: my immigrant mother used to live in the same town as Barry Hay, regularly saw him walk his dogs.

As the top commenter said of this video.
This song makes me want to snort a line of coke, hop in a Lamborghini Countach and call up my friends on a cell phone the size of a brick
This song is pretty much the representative of my thoughts and feelings of my life over the last several years. Makes me feel really emotional. Mainly with my belief as a kid, that if I moved somewhere else, my life would be changed. I would make real friends, and live the life as I wanted it. As I grew older, I realized that moving wouldn't change a thing. My friends don't care about me, and I can improve, but life is still in my hands no matter where I am. If I left for a new setting, my life won't change. I'll still be the same inside, and that's all that matters.
