Looking for people who play RTS/Strategy games

ive got company of heros and dawn of war and im really lookin forward to starcraft 2

ive been thinkin of gettin many games, specifically RTS style, but i got a question. which one would you prefer or is better than the other, Company of Heroes or Dawn?

I also got Star Wars Empire at War, Age of Empire 3(dunno if it works though) and Star Wars Battlegrounds if i havent posted that up already. If i did, then srry.

Well the two are mad by the same company but if your looking into single player, i would go for Dawn, but Company of Hero's has a better Multi base IMO.

go Company of Heroes, i think its better but its really up to your prefrence

Relic made both and you can tell that Dawn of War was made before Company of Heroes, the systems they use are not as developed yet, which tends to make multiplayer more intresting in Company of Heroes. That being said, I think Company of Heores single player experince tends to be a bit of a wash, since the story or characters were not all that interesting. The orginal Dawn of War, and Winter assualt, both had superior stories to CoH and its first expansion. However, Dark Crusade and Soulstorm don't really have stories, per se, but do contain some brief storm elements.

So my suggestion, if you were going to get one of the two, assuming no price diffrence, go with Company of Heroes since you can keep playing the multiplayer, 4most and I are pretty active playing it (and viano occasionaly joins us).

The THQ Collector's pack is $75 this weekend on steam. It has CoH and it's first expansion, DoW1 with all of its expansions, DoW 2, and some other random games.

In DoW 1, I would anally rape you guys. I'm dead serious. I was the most badass motherfucker ever with Imperial Guard.

In DoW 2, I was overall disappointed because I missed macromanagement. The game was all about three or four squads, and lacked any real epic feeling.

In Age of Empires 3, I was awesome because I used 1942-Russian tactics for 19th century-Russian tactics.

As for starcraft, I'm pretty good by non-Korean standards.

Oh, and CoH I'd buttfuck you as British, but I lost my fucking CD key. /sigh.

We will get you in our next dawn of war game, though we usually don't play verses against each other. I'll have to get starcraft installed and we can probably get enough people for a 2 on 2 match for Starcraft, god I will be so rusty though.

BTW if anyones thinking about joining us that THQ pack is a insane deal, though I already have half the games >.<
