Well... Aside from there good community colleges I'm hearing about and such a pleasant place to live as in like you want to live peacefully and ONLY peacefully it would be a good place for winter break other then that it has nothing else to offer no tourism no nothing
lol are you still on this? when you actually have something to OFFER to the world you don't NEED tourism because you make enough money on that, tourism's just a way for lazy people with little to offer to make money
and if any place is a place you just want to visit and not stay it's california, you've got a way larger crime rate, angrier people, worse traffic, not enough jobs, tons of homeless people begging for your money, and other problems like that
Yea were nice to the homeless now you know where to go doghouse :3
I have yet to see a homeless person in Iowa
Maybe it's because we don't have a ton of casinos where we can spend all our money, or giant super malls that run all our tiny family owned stores out of business

And this students, is what makes Rural areas different from Urban areas.

No it's because your tax system and mortgages are so dirt cheap there is no way someone can't afford a house.'
Where I live currently, a house that's about $150,000 in Iowa is $800,000 here.

I live in the 25th richest county in America, adjacent to the 11th.
There are only 2 counties in California more expensive then here.

So you do live in California? You'd think property here in "The Cursed State" is rather expensive but that's only the beach homes and condos. The more inland you get in Florida, the cheaper the houses are, which makes sense actually.
Edit: 100th Post! I just shat and jizzed in my pants at the same time!

I live in Suffolk County, New York. My town has a 96% white population. I hate it.

And I am one of the 4% that is not white, there for I'm one of the coolest guys there. That's my self reassuring logic and damnit I'm sticking with it.

I took that pic on an iphone camera, so it looks like shit. Dept. can confirm that I am not white. Not sure what I am since my mom was adopted, so I can choose my own race at will.
And yeah, suffolk sucks. The only thing good about it is that I can hop on a train for an hour and head into NYC.

"Suffolk County. At least it's better than New Jersey!"

Kerplunker's is race X, not a super human race, but a race that has unknown origins. He is 50% British, 50% "Whatever minority we are currently making fun of at the time," a pretty useful trait to have. But we have João (Actually a proven minority, born in Rio de Janeiro), who can cover, in case Kerplunker's tan wears thin, which happens in the winter.
Honestly, if you don't know where Rio de Janeiro is...

I live in a desert. It's continually 107 degrees every morning, and 97 degrees at night.
It's a rich town. Very Low Unemployment, Hot, nice, and rich.
What I hate about the rich part is being taxed 50,000 dollars a year. While my sister in law GETS 30,000 FROM taxes.

I don't believe you at all, deserts get FREEZING at night, and your name's john failman and we're supposed to believe you're some big rich man? I'd figure you'd be able to come up with a better name or pay someone to come up with a better name

south west corner of ohio.
we always say here that ohio is the only place you can experience all four seasons in one day.
there is never a constant temperature.
like in may there was this date i went on and it was kind of warm out.. it got colder and started to rain as it turned to night. after we come out of the movie theater there is a foot of snow on the ground with the biggest snowflakes i have ever seen i swear they were basketball size flakes. it was so insane!

lolwut? California's industry didn't boom until the mid-to-late-1900's, their "factories" are all silicone valley based. Sorry if that's a shrewd accusation, but you know it's true.
The general trend is, the more people driving Lexuses and Hondas, the worse the driving conditions are. Because Hondas are driven by pricks (mostly) who don't care about their car (mostly), and Lexuses are driven by pussies (mostly) who are to afraid to drive their car (mostly).
