My opinion-
This is a mature game on the internet, thus the parent's should be well aware of the risks coming in. If the child isn't mentally or emotionally mature enough that's not my problem and they should learn the hard way. The hard way is the most effective and sometimes the only way to learn. I have no sympathy, or at least I do not show it, towards children who are scarred by mature games.

I feel like its really not right for a person to have a spray like that it "Broadcasts" the immaturity and sheer obliviousness of that person, really although people need to grow up being 15 and having a spray like that is showing off something that isn't right.

But to put it straight It's okay if you have that spray but don't go spraying it on the server, (regardless If its any of our servers or not) suck it up and put it on a server that enforces the "No Kids under 18 Rule" and allows those kind of sprays, so to repeat the major point about sprays: Suck it up, take it off and get a life if you get upset about it.

We don't want our server to get the reputation of allowing porn sprays, if they aren't kept in check people will start turning away from the server because of this problem. I have seen this before and I do not want it to happen here.

In all cases, captain and the other high admins have final say in what the server has and does not have. Obviously if they've made this rule, it must be for a very good reason (which I can see Spleenter had said) and I completely agree with. I've allowed it, and lost nearly 50 members from an old community I used to run. Preferably, i'd choose the occasional accidental outburst of a swear word (which I acknowledge is also against the rules when used in great amounts or in cases none at all), however everybody does it even on the forums. But if we are not allowing pornography, then why so much other stuff? We don't allow racism but we allow hatred against what way a person rolls? I'm not one to talk, but seriously who cares if somebody is gay or straight. If they are not completely annoying you and offending you with their sexuality then why are you offending that person. I understand other people have their beliefs and views, Racism is a belief and a view as well. I've only seen a few cases of people either extremely homophobic or just hateful in nature, but it's something that shouldn't be allowed to grow (in my opinion).

ALSO: We're going to be getting a heavy flow of kids off for the summer sneaking onto this mature game. I'd really have to agree with the no "naughty" sprays. I mean if you want to show it to somebody, just take it to an empty server or a different game with the person you want to show it to. Hell, get a link to the picture just keep it off the server.

I'm not one to talk, but seriously who cares if somebody is gay or straight. If they are not completely annoying you and offending you with their sexuality then why are you offending that person.

This is why people should use the in-game mute option more often. If they're being a jerk to everyone on the server, though, ask an admin to mute that person from the whole server if he hasn't already.

As for annoying kids voices, frequently I mute kids as most other regular people on the server dislike the sound of small kids voices. If I hear racism then I will at the least kick them, depending on how bad the comments were I may ban them. If a gay person came on the server I wouldn't really care unless they were trying to chat me up, in which case they'd get muted, if they persisted via chat I'd silence them, and if for some reason they added me as a friend I would ignore them.

LaN, not all the little kids that are on the server during the day are on in the late evenings, some actually do still have bedtimes in summertime.

Yes, the dutch children are a common thing that I see and mute. Which I believe everybody agrees on my choice because I'm usually thanked for muting. I suppose the thing that annoys me (and perhaps other admins) the most are the times when a little boy is talking shit/ghosting/telling an admin what to do/disrespecting other players who don't deserve it. I don't care if other people have muted him, I instantly silence them.

Little kids are a problem like yesterday night we had a kid who kept screeching trying to get attention when we muted him he started text spamming and after gagging him he just left and rejoined, after twice he was kicked and after that captain gave permission to ban him for five minutes, that is the only problem I see with little kids they all might be as stupid as that one

Okay, Any rule is a rule, when it's in place, it's obeyed. Captain Angry owns the server, and anything that happens there, illegal or nor, is a reflection on him, and thus, criminal proceedings can ensue onto Cap'n. (Bullshit, but be aware)

Now, I use to be neutral, not wanting admin (I got it on hiatus of all times, too), and some may wonder why. If you don't care, next paragraph. Politics on the internet never work. Because on the internet, people think that they are now free to do as they please, because there is so little a chance of them being caught. If you get your self a central part in these debates, as I've decided now to do, then your opinion will become just another interpretation of the rules. Because rules are just words. Opinions of the rules is what matters.

So, what winds up happening is that you get all these ideas, and sometimes, they don't mesh well together. It happens in religion, too. (Not nearly as violent, though) What you get is people's opinions, and they constantly nikker and nag, until one gives up.

BUT WHILE THE NIKKERING AND NAGGING ENSUE, YOU'RE STILL EXPECTED TO OBEY THE RULES AS READ

The rule is, no pornographic sprays, straight from the top. And while your opinion matters, but it never affects what the rule says. Because rules are just words. Opinions of the rules is what matters. So think "Is this what the rules would allow?" when ever in one of those situations.
