I'm with bluephyr on this one. His name offends me deeply.
Those who mentioned the first amendment and that he can name himself and say whatever he wants. You are wrong. knowing the constitution and the bill of rights is not enough. you also need to know your court cases, because there are always 'exceptions'.


OBSCENITIES, LIBEL, SLANDER are just three of many things that are NOT protected under the first amendment. so next time you try to play the freedom card, you should do a little homework first. Anyone who has ever studied law and government, these are about the first things you learn.


back on topic. i along with bluephyr will kick upon seeing you in a CC server, if you do not have your name changed upon re-entry, it will be a ban.

The internet is not subject to our 10 ammendments.
The internet does not physically exist in most any country and therefore few laws are in place, most if not all are international. So the internet is not subject to the United States' constitution.

But it certainly angers me when I'm judged by the hypocritical people who flame me for not agreeing with this guy's name, and then telling me he can do what he wants. (i.e. judging ME, telling me I'm in the wrong here)

I'm sure anybody could find anything offensive on the internet, the problem is that if somebody made a case about it every single time it came up we'd be living in hell.

In a reversed kind of way, any of you posting about the people who are offended by this are showing that you are equally offended by our posting of our actual feelings. That sounds kind of confusing, but seriously. All any of you are doing is further complaining about our complaints, its just a huge cycle. And yes it is the internet, where people try to use logic and argue in futility.

wait, that means im offended that blue's offended just because im telling him its futile? that doesnt make a whole lot of sense.

It did in my stream of thought I had when typing that.

Essentially I was saying that anyone who was making an argument against Blue in any form is essentially doing the same. You are trying to make an argument on the internet as he has done. You felt and everyone else who posted had a feeling strong enough that they felt they needed to post about whatever subject. Blue-this dudes name, you-blue's argument, me-the name and the argument everyone else makes. So there, its cyclical.

I have yet to be offended by what anyone has said on these forums. I'm just used to it. Have I ever been annoyed with anyone? Yes, but that's different.

I didn't necessarily mean offended as I said in my last post. Just anybody saying anything about a subject felt strongly enough about it to put their two cents in.
