Invest in cC, which will make money at some point. I have seen gaming communities with official sponsors like D-Link. At the rate cC is growing it will get there, eventually.

The bad:

The best savings accounts give only about 2.25%. So that's still only 20K a year.
The stock market can dive hard fast these days.
Small buisnesses go down like prom dates.

The good:

With a good mutual fund you can make 5-7%, so that's 50-70k a year which aint bad. (I would go with one that's been around for more than a while, DO NOT jump on some crazy notion that you will make more than 10% annually)
If you move to a foreign coutry your dollar will go longer, I would suggest Ireland or Cuba(it's only bad for the locals, for tourists it's nice and cheap).

They have these things called Forever stamps that they sell in the US. It's basicly a letter stamp that is good forever, even when the postage rates increase. You should buy a bunch of those and wait until postage is double what it is now, then profit somehow

I would develop the Flux Capacitor and then travel back in time and invest in specific companies that I know would yield high profits for my investments. Then I would relax and spend the rest of my days doing nothing...

Your investing could alter the time-space continuum and start an alternate timeline that causes those specific companies to go under.

No because my investment wouldn't have to be all that much, think of just putting in like $1k per company. At that point, by the time the company grows I will be like any other bigwig wall-street kiss ass that doesn't do a damn thing for thier money except screw others out of it. Ooops did I just say that out loud?

I've gone through the time travel thoughts before. See what would happen is that by going back in time you would create an alternate universe and to return to your normal universe as you knew it you would have to create a "universe jumper" and go from the past, to the present you created, get bored, and go back to the universe you know and love with a happy new look on life like in those t.v. shows.

I'd buy a garage in philly then turn it into a tuner shop and a little over a year later sell it for about double what I paid for.

If i had 1 million dollars i would finish high school. go to colloge(without any loans :P) while at colloge during breaks i would go travel europe with my friends and hopefully not get abducted and have to fight my way out with my ninija skills(shoutgun + pistol= your dead):(. Then just drive a yellow slug bug/ black mercedes and get a 6 puppies: 2 huskies, 2 golden retriver, a tea-cup poodle, and then buy my brother a baby minture bull dog! O and never tell alot of people about it, i cant stand fake friends

a systems/network guy i know sometimes does some freelance work for a porn host. you walk into their offices, you would never know they handle pr0n traffic 24/7.

what would i do? buy a nice condo downtown, maybe a new car, sit on the rest.

I'd buy a regular three story narrow house on the beaches or something

Then fill that with the most awesome tech i could afford
