Well Beetle My room is almost done its quite simple but Im gunna get it to you hopefully by my Dinner time, If my parents will let me use the labtop

Haven't really posted much considering I don't like to

P.S. How can I get it to you I've had my Own personal Issues with uploading things I don't know why

P.P.S. Now to get my parents to stop playing Peggle on my labtop so I can work on the room

I'm in the same boat trickle but my SDK literally broke itself so I need someone to do it for me I've tried reinstalling SDK still didn't work and a bigger problem is I finally got the music in before it broke which upset me and I got a few other things in before steam made me defrag everything

After reinstalling SDK and verifying game files and what not did you run tf2 once? You have to so it will update everything.

I did that it worked but the map file and stuff was gone

Its probably gone from when you reinstalled the SDK....cuz the vmf is kept in the source content folder.

yes its just an attachment. put your vmf file in a zip assuming you have nothing custom in the map


:edit also I am having kinda big internet troubles. the guy is coming Sunday. This probably won't affect anything. Just letting you know it will be a bit harder to reach me until after then.

Also i asked for room 20 not 40 and the reason i didnt specify i didnt know there was more than 1 room 20
you can put it in Room 20 Floor 3 if its open if not put me in the next closest room

20, 40, doesn't matter. That's why I pinned up the layout which specifically said choose a floor and room and showed that there were 2 floors. Doesn't matter. I'll find you a room. You're still held in higher regard than people who decide to not tell me they aren't going to make their room a few days before its due and only because of laziness.

all of the above rooms added. The sooner the rest of you get me your rooms, the sooner I can release the first version so at least we have something to play.


edit: Speedblader's room is one of my favorites now. T00bz is the only one who came close to letting me leave his room as is, but speedblader's I didn't have to change anything nor did I have to ask for his more than once.

Also, I like the thing you did with the text. I'll have to see how you did that when I care later.

So I decided to make it so once you leave a room, that music is turned off. As it is, its either too soft to hear, or on the other end its loud enough but can be heard from far away.

should of figured i could of done better. Plus now i think of it, i ran my testmap at a faster VIS instead of normal on occasions because the map sometimes didnt run. I'm definitely sure that my map has a shitload of props taken out. Oh well maybe next time. I hope to learn more optimization and creativity before hand.
