Since we're crossposting stuff from SA about TV Tropes now, enjoy the latest production: The Most Annoying Person On The Planet Describes Herself
This Troper is a cross between Manic Pixie Dream Girl, Cloudcuckoolander, The Stoic, The Smart Guy and Deadpan Snarker. No, I don't know how it works, either! She wants to major in astrophysics and double minor in theatre and Roman history. Don't ask. I'm a deadpan snarker and stoic inside my own head, although I will do whatever I want outside my head. If that includes jumping up in the middle of class, begging my history teacher if please please please please please can we take a two-minute break because it's snowing for the first time this year and I want to dance in it?! and wearing things like a pink flapper hat, a black-and-grey striped gothy dress, hippie-esque jewelry, and black tights with ballerina shoes (not ballet flats; her roommate's legit toe shoes) to class. On the other hand, I can out-snark everyone I know, and am ridiculously cynical- I have decided that since humanity on the whole is quite boring, I will simply create my own amusement. I will sing- very loudly- while playing center midfield on my field hockey game, simply because it confuses the other team when an opposing player is singing strange songs at the top of her lungs while twirling her sparkly-blue-hockey-tape-decorated field hockey stick. I am known for being somewhat of a pathological white liar; no-one ever knows quite what I had for breakfast, even if they do know my deepest darkest secrets. I also have the highest GPA in my school, which is probably the only reason my teachers tolerate me, seeing as I'm famous for doing papers the period before they're due and never studying for tests (until my grades start dropping, then I actually work). My friends know the line "Hey, I'm bored! C'mon [name]-" * grabs [name's] wrist* "-let's go cause havoc!" is to be feared. It usually entails the like of organising treasure hunts, delivering candy to random classes, or coating someone with sparkly glitter. But the people who think I'm constantly peppy and upbeat are usually quite confused when they hear my cynical rants- which are usually delivered in a peppy, upbeat tone.
