Okay read all my post before you comment about my last one.

As per PvP, again I point out I'm fine with rewards, but I'm more intrested in the fact that your playing LIVE humans not VERY dumb mobs (that goes for all MMOs), WoWs PvP system however is very tacked on, well because it was largely.

Everything else people have said I'm pretty sure I already talked about so...uh...thats all for now folks?

Every where I turn, people are playing World of Warcraft.
I'm not gonna cave, I'm not gonna cave, I'm not gonna cave, I'm not gonna cave, I'm not gonna cave.

Your just feeding the "everyone that plays WoW gets addicted stereotype". Just try the trial, all the new stuff can be addicting, but once you get used to it, it gets real boring.

Dept. and I played many, many moons ago. He's just trying not to relapse. He got all the way to 70. I personally got up to 39 on a warlock, pvped till my balls turned blue, then got bored and left.

Boreas wrote:Yeah..... 15 million people can't be wrong, except when they are. I joke though, I don't honestly have anything against WoW, its got a great world and setting..... however, the gameplay is very bland and generic as far as I am concerned. If you guys decide to pick up a MMO that involves more then fetch quests and npc grinding I'd be in.
I agree. I played for my demo period and got pretty close to the level cap demo accounts get. I just got horribly bored. Everything is really generic and the game feels really dated compared to new MMOs and RPGs. It's really starting to show it's age.

Will the new expansion fix this? I have no idea. It's not like they have a reason to change anything seeing how many users they have.

Now Guild Wars 2 looks really interesting. No monthlys and the trailers all indicate that playing it will change the way you think of an MMO and it looks really nice. Only time will tell with that one.

Cyrtek is working on some form of an MMORPG-FPS type game, maybe with a low monthly fee, hopefully? But it's crytek, how many people will be able to play is up in the air.

I don't know much on detail, but I remember PC-Gamer talking about it a little bit. Supposedly. it will come out after Crysis 2.

I think if an FPS MMORPG is done correctly, it could be the kind of refreshment I feel MMO's need. It could be bad, it could be good, you never know. I wouldn't make an opinion until more comes out about it. Also, RPG elements under question, which would really just make it a different thing entirely.

Google'd an article: Kingdoms: The Crytek MMO?

Knowing how Crytek is, this new game will destroy the graphics card of 90% of all the players.

I lol'd

How has nobody mentioned Star Wars: The Old Republic? That MMORPG looks AMAZING. I'm NOT an MMO fan, a RPG fan OR an MMORPG fan, but I want that game.

It might have something to do with the fact that this is the WoW topic. Its been mentioned several times in the other mmo topics.
