I've held this off for far too long. The server is back up and running!
The commands are:
/motd - views the login message
/help rules - shows the rules
/help help - shows this page
/spawn - takes you to spawn
/sethome - sets your home
/home - takes you to your home
/pm - brings up private message menu
and teleport commands are granted to those who stick around a bit.

does it still have the bug where some people are in survival and others are in creative?

In order for me to verify if it is a bug or not, I need to delete everybody's inventories.
