Why are so many rage battles beginning in my intro thread?

And I repeat, what is the status on the Florida cC gathering? Every time I ask, the topic gets derailed to some other nonsense. If we are going to do this, we need to figure everything out (ie who can and can't go, where it is, etc) It is a little frustrating that, after proposing this idea and getting some good responses from other members, now it just turns into arguments about random crap every time it gets mentioned.

Maybe we should just forget the whole thing since apparently everyone is too busy arguing about irrelevant nonsense to even focus for 5 minutes.

I feel like this is somehow my fault. I just wanted to try organizing a gathering of all the local cC members to get together and actually meet our fellow gamers in person, but apparently IS NOT POSSIBLE!

Oh well. Hopefully the arguments will end or at least gtf out of my intro.
