Something wrong with PS3...

Ok,Eversince this mornin when no one was awake I saw the PS3 light thingy blinking constantly.I turned it on just to see what would happen...and it turned off and began blinking again.The ps3 was working yesterday,and I didn't touch it since friday so i had nothing to do with it.

Lol Captain, that is a little harsh. What happened when you turned it on? I personally don't have a PS3 but I know a few people that do. Maybe it has a software update ready?

When i turn it on it acts normal...then it turns yellow...then it turns red and starts flashing


Also,I found a wonderful solution to it.You cant fix it :P

you sir have just been hit with Sony's "red ring of death". I for one have actually had this happen before, all i did was unplug the wires, reconnected, and it works fine. My version is the new Slim, so ya mine is a piece of shit and should know these things XD

If you didn't void the warranty by modding it or anything I assume you would be able to send it back for repair.

accutallly its not sonys red ring of death its sonys YELLOW ring of death :D Microsoft has red ring. anyways just send it into sony :/

The solution to said problem is to take your ps3 outside and smash it into pieces with a hammer composed of copies of Halo 3, Gears of War, and Left for Dead superglued to together. End result is a masterpiece, a hammer crafted from xbox games, and a ps3 destroyed as the result.
