So just one thing.

DO NOT go anywhere near the line of sight for snipers.
They will snipe your head head off faster than you can spin your minigun up.

Just that, i saw a heavy who kept on running across the battlements of the enemy team.
And he kept getting sniped.

Also: watch out for scouts. Although they're fairly simple to wipe out once you have them in your sights, they're around four times as fast as you and can sometimes take you out quite easily if you're weakened.

Heavy + Medic is one of the greatest combos. Always have a medic around and you'll do much, much better. Although I suppose this applies to most classes...

Heavys suck against all classes at super close range, anyone skilled anyway. A heavy is just as easy to take out as an SG. The only difference is that the medic is the engie. If that gun is spinning, you might as well consider the heavy a stationary object.

most people are too surprised when being attacked by a civilan heavy. Also go civillan heavy for the enjoyment of both teams.

Do not shoot enemy civilian heavies, they can't do any damage

I've killed as civilian heavy, the minigun is the only weapon that won't work. Shotgun and fists work fine.
