wepons

PRIMARY-

rocket launcher - med to long range
damge done within 10-8 feet (with in that range will you hurt them with the blast radius)
damage - 90-112 crit 270

unlock - The Direct Hit - med to long range
+25 % damage done
+80% rocket speed (ur rockets go almost twice as fast)
minicrits to airborn target (shoot people in the air they will usually die)

damage -
112-140 crit 338
SECONDARY-

shotgun - short to med range
damage -
60-90 crit 180

unlock - The Buff Banner
if you do about 600 damage your rage bar will be filled and you can use the buffbanner
and everyone neer you will be buffed with forced minicrits
takes about 3 seconds to activate

MELEE-

Shovel
damage - 65 crit 195

unlock - The Equalizer
+ speed and damage and a higher crit ratio with lower health
with 20 health you can run as faster than a medic
and you will crit within your next 5 hits (if you dont heal or die)

damage - 33-162 crit unknown (damage upped with lower health)

unlcock - THE PAIN TRAIN
damage
same as a shovel just youre more vunerable to BOOLETS and you capture points quick like a scoot

Taunt: GRENADE
256 damage after 4 seconds (within 6 feet)

vs anyone

aim ahead of the target if they are running to the left or right of you (with direct hit you will aim
about half way where you would normally

the faster they go and the farther away they are the further you aim ahead of them
this will take practice
if they are running at you or all over the place then aim at their feet
if you aim at their feet they will recieve atleast blast damage if you dont completely hit them
otherwise you may miss and the blast radius wont hurt them

aiming at their feet also give you the split second to hit them in mid air
if you do this right you can even juggle your opponent where they keep landing into your rocket
to juggle them you will have to aim under their feet just right and they will bounce back up and even
strafing wont really help

with the direct hit (or not) if you hit them directly in mid air after you bounce them up
most classes WILL expldoe into lovely giblets

note the lighter the class the farther up they will go and vice versa
ie heavies are hard to bounce

the higher up you are the better off you are
use your rocket jumping to your advantage (rocketjumping will be my next guide)
if you are above everyone then you can hit the ground around them and do damage

if you are below people you may miss BUT THIS TIME your hits will not hit the ground but continue into the sky
unless there is a cieling or you put them above you dont aim up at anyone
unless unless you bounced them up with your rocket then go ahead shoot them maybe if you have aim you will hit them

your rocket launcher is SLOW to reload so use your shotgun if you have it equipt after you run out of a clip
remember a shotgun is powerful just not AS powerful or special as other primarys



vs scoots
if they are far away dont even bother
if they are close enough then you can shoot a rocket and the human brain wont have enough time to react

if they get really close then aim at your feet
they blast radius will usually be enough to kill them ( although it doesnt always work)

but if you cant seem to hit them then use a shotgun since boolets are faster than rockets

vs other sollys
rocket jump around shoot multiple rockets in contrasting directions (to the left and right of the target)
this will confuse them and make them nervous and prolly (attempt a) rocket jump
aim at their feet and stay above them

if you find yourself struggling to reload change to shotgun (if you have it) and use it


vs pyros
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SHOOT A (rocket at) APYRO FROM FAR AWAY IF THEY SEE YOU
its not that dangerous if theyr far away but if theyr close enough they can airblast and hit you before you can react
if you can see wether or not they have a backburner then do so
that way youll know what to watch out for (your rockets)
if they do however airblast your rockets back then use your shotgun
and if theyr far away then use shotgun or dont bother

stay away from theyr fire it will do damage while you shoot at them


vs scotsmen

stay med to long range and try to avoid runing onto their stickies or runinto their pipe bombs
use your rockets on their stickybombs to spread them apart ( this also dislodges them from walls)
if they have the targe just stay on your toes and be ready to avoid them and shoot them in the back
also if they have the targe they can only move in a slight curve so you can shoot them 1 or 2 times
before they hit or miss you
then you can shoot their back if they miss
ofcourse if they have the targe they will be harder to kill
but if they have the paintrain stritch to your shotty it actually works better than a rocket launcher (if u can aim)


vs fattys

far away they can do around 3 damage continuously
close up they can kill you in half a half a half a second
rocket jumping has worked for me if you rocketjump around them and fast enough so they cant see you
meanwhile barage them with rocket after rocket they barely move so hit them directly
if you cant hit a heavy whos shooting then you suck (well you do cause they move extremely slow)
otherwise use your shotty when your out of ammo

vs engis and his sentrehs

engis can hurt you if you dont know where they are so becareful cause 2-3 close up shotguns blasts to the face will kill u

they should be simple enough or you shouldnt even bother because they will be many times behind their sentry
sentrys may have a large hitbox but with a rocketlauncher will hurt he engi just a bit behind them

the best way to get rid of a sentry is out of range because they dont move
and with the direct hit you can kill a sentry with a full clip (if the engis repairing)

several times however you cant shoot a sentry from far away because they are around a corner

have you noticed that when there is a wall close to your right you might end up hurting yourself?
thats because your rocket launcher is slightly to the right
and is aimed to where it gets closer and closer to the crosshair
most people i know already know this trick but this is just for completion

if a sentry is around a corner (where you turn left)
you can hurt a sentry by getting up really clsoe to that corner
putting your crosshair where the sentry WOULD BE if the wall wasnt in the way (which it should be)
and fire continously (if you get shot by a sentry then your too far to the right)

lvl 1 sentrys will die almost instantly
same with lvl 2's

lvl 3 sentries have a major health buff from lvl 2 so it may take a few more rawkets


vs medics
SHOOT THEM FIRST
SHOOT THEM FIRST

forget the heavy or demo till later kill the medic because it will be nigh impossible to kill a
healthbuffed and continously healed heavy
so kill the medic he dies quick enough just watch for their bonesaw or ubersaw because they always seem to crit

vs snipers

just watchout for them cause 99% of the time they will be so far away they can
notice a rocket is coming at them
descope
stand for half a second
grab a bite to eat at a local resturaunt
then move out of the way before your rocket gets there
and if you stand still (which you sudent EVER) they will get a free headshot (as your head is big)

if theyr close then use your shotty or your melee as they will MOST LIKELY take out their kukri
but the might also have a smg which when close enough can maybe kill you
or have jarate to make you die about twice as fast
or have razorback wich wont help or hinder them at all (just they dont have a weapon to hurt you with)


vs frenchies

if you see them shoot them or at them
if you have any hint that their is a spy like disguise smoke or whatever shoot ahead of them
if a spy cloaks and you see them get shot (and blink with their color)
then aim ahead of them and again ahead of them


the only times in a normal match that would require you to get out your melee is
wen a sniper is very close
when a scoot is jumping over you
when a heavy has boxing gloves
when its a thursday afternoon with a 40 degree windchill
when the moon spins the opposite direction
when mare jupiter and saturn align straight to the sun
when saxton hale tells you to
or when your next to a sniper that is scoped (its like seeing through a toilet paper tube)
by normal i mean just some random server

if i missed anything or made toomany spelling mistakes for you to handle
or you dont quite understand what im saying
or your offended by any terms in this guide
then leave it in your reply/post

PS: you will get a cookie if you can manage to rocket jump atleast 20 feet in the air
kill another rocketjumping soldier or sticky jumping demo IN THE AIR with your melee
then before you land shoot 2 rockets down at opponents below you (must be atleast two)
and kill them
then turn around and kill a spy in one hit with your melee
