Please at LEAST let us use votekick, voteban, and most of all, votemute. The main server is always empty, and the funserver has been taken over by 10 year old boys... Join for a bit and you'll see what I mean. "letz pleh breakwall"

"i liek HipHop"

"letz pleh hevyrce"

All in high pitches, repeated x1000 on mic.

We can't even head near the decent maps anymore.

But then, yeah, for example No Mercy:

Blu is half spies who can't backstab anybody, the other half scouts with 10 fps, and me, the person with most points who's carrying the entire team.

Red is a quarter trolls, a third w+m1 pyros who haven't unlocked the backburner but don't know how to airblast people, and a sixth of engineers who build level 1 sentries in random places that will never ever kill anybody, except maybe the scouts with 10 fps.

The other 97% of the time, we're playing Breakfloor.

Or, worse, harbl_hotel, where the 10 year olds pretend to be afk looking at the picture of Bridget and ask "im 10 wats aids??!". ._.

And cyberpunk, which always stays on for hours.

I don't like the Voteban thing. I've seen a lot of people get banned for no reason.

sounds like even if we did that there's so many of them that the votes would all end up as no

You're better off just waiting for an admin, trying to get a game started on the main server, playing on a different server, or just playing a different game

Votemenu was taken out because of it being abused.

Maybe the vote think should be changed up a little.
Instead of voteban being 30 minutes,make it 5 or 10,to give the person being banned time to cool down,but not so much time that it gets them angry.

Votemute is useless. The server was made for micspam so people won't get muted for it unless it's really really awful. Just personally mute

Votekick should have a limit. For example,a person cannot be kicked more than once or twice.

According to my admin badge, more than half of CC doesn't like me >_>.

Perhaps not as in disliking me, but the majority passes me by or votes no, so I'm not getting admin anytime soon.

I'd still like to try votekicking/muting >_>.

CC's servers used to be really really fun but they've kinda deteriorated, and there are a LOT of unskilled players now. I don't mind unskilled players, but I don't like when they have an attitude, whine over the mic, and consistently say stuff like "ur noob u only have a level 17 direct hit i have a level 100 backburner" or "why u no wait for charge?? u chetin sniper!!"

More and more people play tf2 not to have fun, but just to either troll or pick fights or both.

TF2 is by a long shot, the most fun PC game I own- if you play it right. It's a mutualism as far as several people helping each other goes, but if nobody helps, then the game is pointless. (Here I pause to say that I lost THE GAME)

I suppose I should try to start games on the main server... The thing is, I started CC on the fun server, and know most/all of the maps there, the main server has only a few maps in common.

And Divine Fate, the votemenu got taken away, presumably due to the fact that most people like breakfloor and turned the funserver into breakfloor/wall 24/7.

Celtic, I agree with all of that, but for votemute, I don't like having people talk to me while I can't hear them, because I'm polite that way. >_>

oh, and celtic, i'm going to continue to globally mute people, not individually. mic spam is one of the most talked about complaints on here. The funserver may be about mic spamming and having fun, but i believe cptangry said its also for admins abusing their powers,,,,,even though i dont consider muting micspammers abuse.

well the fun server is over run with immature ppl (excluding me cuz im not immature this subject will be up for discussion) theres mic spammers theres weirdos and freaks coming in the funserver the worse thing is some admins ignore the pleas of help to kick the person or to mute him/her

You people are so silly.

I always hear complaints but no viable solutions. People say that they don't like playing breakfloor (a map that was made by someone, for our server) or harbl_hotel over and over again but when they come up for a vote 90% of the people vote for those maps.

I can fix the monotony of the maps to some extent. I could do something like disable the ability to nominate a map or reserve nominations for admins only.

I could stop mic spam but that will get huge complaints from everyone. I could bring back votekick and votemute but not voteban.

Honestly, I am hesitant to make huge changes. A full server is what draws people into the community. Even if the server is full of 10 year olds, being full draws in new people. New people move between the two servers, get their friends to join and join the forum. Look around at the bigger TF2 clans. They all have core servers that run stock maps or general customs but they all also have 24/7 Rainbow maps and that kind of shit.

Anyway, I am much more open to suggestions that complaints. There will always be someone who complains about every decision that is made and I have learned to ignore most of it until I get enough complaints about the same thing.

Is there anyway to put a limit on how many times a map can be played within a 24 hour period? Everytime I come on I swear its always breakfloor. Not that it's bad,I just hate waiting.

Also,maybe put this into the admin system:

Level 0 ( No level[Get no perks] ):
People that play here but aren't regulars yet.

Level 1 (Regulars[Cannot get votekicked and maybe other things])
Obviously,people that have been here for a bit and will stay here. Also those that prove to be worthy of this. Being a douchebag can result in going back to level 0

Level 2,3,4,etc. are pretty much what you already have.

Is there a way for you to cap the number of people using microphones at the same time? Allowing only 3 people to use their mics at once could help things.

People micspamming garbage would probably get viewed in a more negative light if they insisted on using a slot that someone might want to actually hold conversation, and would probably get votekicked quickly. We also wont have 7 tweens screaming at once.

I am pretty much limited to this: http://wiki.alliedmods.net/Map_Manageme ... SourceMod). I could disable nominations or make it so the map rotation was always random. I think the best solution would be to make it so old admins could nominate maps.

As far as mic spam goes, there is a plugin that would allow you to disable someone from using mic spams but not mute them. What we really need is a plugin that would disable mic spams for everyone except for admins. That would be amazing.

that would be an amazing plug in. i am on all the time and usually its the funserver that im on unless people are on the custom server then i head straight to there. and i do think admins need that plugin. but i do assume things will be better when school starts and the fact that sernum had his admin back and im admin now, and since were on more often than some of the other admins. the only thing i could suggest is the vote menu should comeback with only kick and mute but you need 75ish percent to get the vote to go though. as for the maps. i dont take people to breakfloor. i usually just take us to some serious map or a valve map. and when that fails i rally us up and we head over to the normal server. but only the non idiots.
