The title pretty much explains it. How can I be sure that when I build something or establish a home on the server it won't just get removed in some weeks?

With the 1.2 update I had new hope in this server, but not longer than two weeks after that we get yet another map.

It's destroying my fun on the server to the point where I don't even play Minecraft in general anymore.

I'm sure if we had a proper server we wouldn't have this problem as often. I think half the problems we have with map changes are the server crashing and corrupting the map. If we had a proper server the server wouldn't crash and we would probably have less lag spikes etc etc, the only problem is that nobody wants to donate toward a server, but if you want to have decent gameplay with friends then we need a proper server, and since they don't come cheap that means donations are needed.

Sorry about the map changes D:
I'm really not going to attempt to justify myself because I'd probably turn out looking more like a fail lol. Anyways, the current server map is destined to stay for a while. Hell I even put the spawnboat back on. I will begin constructing a city on the server, like the old map with the metropolis (if any of you guys still remember). Also, I am making some changes on the server that serves no other purpose other than stability. I don't have many details yet, because a lot of it it is still on the drawing board. Once again, sorry about all of this.
