So a beat em up cabinet is out of the question then?

I have no idea what you're saying half the time, and this is part of that time.

Posting a second suggestion here that I brought up with Beetle already.

A Jazz Lounge, somewhere. Hidden, like the MedicHaus in bestofclass.

I can compile some music for it easily.

VERY, VERY easily.

I was thinking of having a melee only cabinet that was reminiscent of old school beat em ups a la Streets of Rage or Final FIght.

Actually on closer inspection the idea just the same melee only shit that we're all sick of anyway, so forget I said anything.

If you did the melee thing, do you think it would be possible to leave the person who's dying with 1hp, bonked, and then have a sound file of "finish him" play?

that would be pretty neat

You just gotta make a map... that is a giant hat or pile of hats

*I've never seen anything like this in my 4 minutes of research*

Reminds me.

Digitalwanderer once made a passing remark a while back about how there should be a TF2 map or mod where everyone's hats would be miniaturized versions of maps, and the maps would literally be giant hats.

I've called him Ideasmith ever since.

Hell, I'd suggest everything I've ever come up with, if I could remember it. Some of it was pretty good, like this giant hat thing, but if digital came up with it first, gratz to him.

I did a bit of work for GMG (Sorry) and supplied a large amount of suggestions and work for many features there.
I also map a bit and such.
Should I put all of my crap here or should I make seperate threads?

Actually, I'd sugggest making your version of ccchoice. I'm working on a map that kinda started as such but moved on to be way unrelated. So if you want to map it, I'd be happy to help if you have any questions.

All I'd need is the hammer files

Nah, I mean I'm making a separate map. There are no Hammer files.

Ah, well, then is there any sort of game mode this will have?
I don't want to design something for one thing then have it be something else.
I do have some ideas already though, so a direction would be appreciated.

I don't think anyone really cares what gamemode. And I can't count the times something has started as one thing and become another. I think the community will be happy as long as it looks like their input mattered.

Going on the funserver at random times and asking for reasonable suggestions is probably the best way. Also, talk to Billy Mazing if you want.

Well, what ever I make, it's going to involve large fucking skyscrapers and is going to be probably unreasonably large till told other wise.
But yes, I'll do that.

From experience with the hotel map etc, they tend to suggest things after they see a Work In Progress on the server.

Ah, which kinda sorta answers a question.
I usually like to do a minimally textured, no coding (though, I may need a little assistance with that for more advanced things), minimally propped version to see how people run through it before I start putting everything down. It keep me from making something, making it purdy, then realizing it doesn't run well. And doing it by myself takes too long, so employing other members would be appreciated.

Alright, I know what the layout of the map is, and already am working on a bit of it.
It's going to be semi-industrialized islands.
