It says that the file size is 1.8 gigabytes on that, though. The files I got from Steam were considerably smaller.

Perhaps I'll try that after I eventually install Windows 7. It's going to make me do a clean install, so I'm not downloading any large files or programs because I'm going to need to back up my system.

I recently downloaded the TF2 Dedicated Server thing on Steam and I'm trying to get it to work. I've done the port forwarding, but I don't know what settings to use or what to put in the server.cfg file. When I try to connect to it from steam, it says "You don't have this 3rd party mod installe...

And, of course, my mic just stopped working. Perhaps I will find another...

Did I enter the wrong kind of Steam Id? I used the one that www.mysteamid.com told me.

EDIT: It appears to be working fine now!

When I choose yes, I go to a blank page with 3 red dots flashing from left to right in the upper left corner and my browser tells me on the bottom left that there was is an error on the page. I left it going for 5 minutes and nothing changed.
