well as far as i know, as long as the server is turned to easy, the monsters will still spawn, but the creepers wont explode, so if anyone wanted to make a monster killer trap, they could, they could just do without fear of creepers fucking it up. peaceful would just be no monsters with regen health...

changing the server level would most likely be some OP command, and as for the one in my control panel, that only affects single player...

Lets just say the creepers are not nice to the new builders on the server when you cannot protect yourself b/c you haven't the coal to make a shit ton of torches to keep them away....and therefore your building goes away very fast... also the occasional fall from the top of a tower kinda sucks.... s...
